Nuclear Stress Test

A test that allows the doctor to determine how well your heart functions when it is made to work harder via walking on a treadmill or using medications to simulate exercise. Nuclear images of your heart are taken before and after the stress test. The nuclear image allows the doctor to see how well your blood flows in your heart.

Patient Preparation – Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Follow instructions for testing provided by the office. Please note that you will be charged $200 if you do not call to cancel your appointment 24 hours prior to the test.
