About Dr. Howard Tee

Howard T. Tee, MD., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P., is a cardiologist specializing in invasive and non-invasive cardiology. Working as a cardiologist in Vero Beach for several years, Dr. Tee is well-published and has presented numerous articles during his cardiology fellowship. Active in academics, he has presented new medications and novel procedures on the market to numerous physicians and health care practitioners.

Dr. Tee’s scope of practice is in the diagnosis of heart failure, atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease. He performs cardiac catheterizations through the wrist, pacemaker and defibrillator placement. He also performs routine Echo, Trans-esophageal ECHO, stress test, nuclear cardiology, and various other minor procedures in his office such as loop recorder placement.

He is board-certified and re-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular disease and Nuclear Cardiology through the American Board on Internal Medicine and American College of Cardiology. He is a past Chief of cardiology at the Indian River Medical Center and has served as a Cardiac Cath lab director for many years for the Heart Center of the Treasure Coast. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, FACC and FACP.

Dr. Tee is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center of Georgetown University and followed a cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
